3 SUMMARY The Offer Size Adjustment Option granted to the Hong Kong Underwriters under the Hong Kong Underwriting Agreement has been exercised. Please refer to the announcement of the Company dated 26 October 2010 for details. Based on the Offer Price of HK$19.68 per Offer Share, the net proceeds from the Global Offering to be received by the Selling Shareholder, after deduction of the underwriting commission and other offering expenses and assuming no exercise of the Over-Allotment Option, is estimated to be approximately HK$135,067 million. A total of 208,800 valid applications have been received pursuant to the Hong Kong Public Offer on white and yellow Application Forms and through giving electronic application instructions to HKSCC via CCASS or to the eipo Service Provider under the White Form eipo service for a total of 5,632,828,600 Hong Kong Offer Shares, equivalent to approximately 9.62 times of the total number of 585,741,600 Hong Kong Offer Shares initially available under the Hong Kong Public Offer (before exercise of the Offer Size Adjustment Option). A total of 5,374 valid applications have been received pursuant to the Agent Preferential Offer on blue Application Forms or through the designated website of the Online Agent Preferential Offer service for a total of 29,604,200 Offer Shares (comprising 2,227 valid applications from Tier 1 Agent for a total of 16,327,000 Offer Shares and 3,147 valid applications from Tier 2 Agent for a total of 13,277,200 Offer Shares), equivalent to approximately 1.45 times of the total number of Offer Shares available to the applicants on blue Application Forms for subscription under the Agent Preferential Offer. A total of 1,304 valid applications have been received pursuant to the Employee Preferential Offer on pink Application Forms or the designated website of the Online Employee Preferential Offer service for a total of 4,588,800 Offer Shares. The remaining 2,735,200 Employee Reserved Shares not purchased by the Eligible Employees will be allocated from the Employee Preferential Offer to the Agent Preferential Offer. The Offer Shares initially offered under the International Placing have been significantly over-subscribed. The Selling Shareholder has granted to the International Underwriters the Over-Allotment Option exercisable by the Joint Global Coordinators on behalf of the International Underwriters within 30-day period from the last day for the lodging of applications under the Hong Kong Public Offer to require the Selling Shareholder to sell 15% of the total number of Offer Shares offered under the Global Offering including the Offer Shares under the Offer Size Adjustment Option at the Offer Price, which will be equal to 1,054,334,400 additional Shares. If the Over-Allotment Option is exercised, a press announcement will be made. As at the date of this announcement, the Over-Allotment Option has not been exercised. 3

Dealings in the Shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange are expected to commence at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, 29 October Shares will be traded in board lots of 200 Shares each. 6 EXERCISE OF OFFER SIZE ADJUSTMENT OPTION The Offer Size Adjustment Option granted to the Hong Kong Underwriters under the Hong Kong Underwriting Agreement has been exercised. Please refer to the announcement of the Company dated 26 October 2010 for details. USE OF PROCEEDS FROM THE GLOBAL OFFERING Based on the Offer Price of HK$19.68 per Offer Share, the net proceeds from the Global Offering to be received by the Selling Shareholder, after deduction of the underwriting commission and other offering expenses and assuming no exercise of the Over-allotment Option, is estimated to be approximately HK$135,067 million. The Company will not receive any of the net proceeds from the Global Offering. AIA Aurora LLC will receive all of the net proceeds from the Global Offering. AIA Aurora LLC currently intends to use such proceeds as described in the section headed Future Plan and Use of Proceeds in the Prospectus. APPLICATIONS AND INDICATIONS OF INTEREST RECEIVED The Directors announce that at the close of the application lists at 12:00 noon on Thursday, 21 October 2010, a total of 208,800 valid applications (applications on white and yellow Application Forms and through giving electronic application instructions to HKSCC via CCASS or to the White Form eipo Service Provider under the White Form eipo) have been received pursuant to the Hong Kong Public Offer for a total of 5,632,828,600 Hong Kong Offer Shares, equivalent to approximately 9.62 times of the total number of 585,741,600 Hong Kong Offer Shares initially available under the Hong Kong Public Offer (before the exercise of the Offer Size Adjustment Option). Of the 208,800 valid applications on white and yellow Application Forms and by electronic application instructions given to HKSCC and to the White Form eipo Service Provider through the White Form eipo service for a total of 5,632,828,600 Hong Kong Offer Shares, a total of 206,155 applications in respect of a total of 1,778,387,000 Hong Kong Offer Shares were for Hong Kong Offer Shares with an aggregate subscription amount based on the maximum offer price of HK$19.68 per Offer Share (excluding brokerage of 1%, SFC transaction levy of 0.003% and Hong Kong Stock Exchange trading fee of 0.005% payable) of HK$5 million or less (representing approximately 6.07 times the 292,870,800 Hong Kong Offer Shares initially comprised in Pool A), and a total of 2,645 applications in respect of a total of 3,854,441,600 Hong Kong Offer Shares were for Hong Kong Offer Shares with an aggregate subscription amount based on the maximum offer price of HK$19.68 per Offer Share (excluding brokerage of 1%, SFC transaction levy of 0.003% and Hong Kong Stock Exchange trading fee of 0.005% payable) of more than HK$5 million (representing approximately times the 292,870,800 Hong Kong Offer Shares initially comprised in Pool B). 190 multiple or suspected multiple applications have been rejected, 501 applications have been rejected due to bounced cheque(s) and 84 invalid applications have been identified and rejected. No application for more than 50% of the Hong Kong Offer Shares has been identified. 6

7 A total of 5,374 valid applications have been received pursuant to the Agent Preferential Offer on blue Application Forms or through the designated website of the Online Agent Preferential Offer service for a total of 29,604,200 Offer Shares, equivalent to approximately 1.45 times of the total number of Offer Shares available to the applicants on blue Application Forms for subscription under the Agent Preferential Offer. A total of 1,304 valid applications have been received pursuant to the Employee Preferential Offer on pink Application Forms or through the designated website of the Online Employee Preferential Offer service for a total of 4,588,800 Offer Shares. The remaining 2,735,200 Employee Reserved Shares not purchased by the Eligible Employees will be allocated from the Employee Preferential Offer to the Agent Preferential Offer. The Offer Shares offered in the Hong Kong Public Offer, the Agent Preferential Offer and the Employee Preferential Offer were conditionally allocated on the basis set forth in the paragraph headed Basis of Allocation under the Hong Kong Public Offer, Agent Preferential Offer and Employee Preferential Offer below. INTERNATIONAL PLACING The Directors further announce that the Offer Shares initially offered under the International Placing have been significantly over-subscribed. The Selling Shareholder has granted to the International Underwriters the Over-Allotment Option exercisable by the Joint Global Coordinators on behalf of the International Underwriters within 30- day period from the last day for the lodging of applications under the Hong Kong Public Offer to require the Selling Shareholder to sell up to 15% of the total number of Offer Shares offered under the Global Offering, including the Offer Shares under the Offer Size Adjustment Option at the Offer Price, which will be equal to 1,054,334,400 additional Shares. If the Over-Allotment Option is exercised, a press announcement will be made. As at the date of this announcement, the Over- Allotment Option has not been exercised. The Directors confirm that no Offer Shares have been allocated to applicants who are directors, existing shareholders or connected persons of the Company within the meaning of the Listing Rules for their own accounts. The International Placing is in compliance with the placing guidelines for equity securities as set out in Appendix 6 to the Listing Rules. None of the Joint Sponsors and the Underwriters has taken up any Offer Shares for its own benefit under the Global Offering. The Directors confirm that none of the placees under the International Placing will become a substantial shareholder of the Company after the International Placing within the meaning of the Listing Rules and the Company s public float percentage will satisfy the minimum percentage prescribed by Rule 8.08(1)(a) of the Listing Rules. 7
