16 Even though we have had the play area revamped, it is nowhere near the quality and range of facilities as other areas. A lot of the children tend to go and use the astro turf facilities to play football as there is little else for the yr olds to do. How about basketball hoops etc to encourage the children to participate in exercise? 16

24 Culcheth Community High School At the time the survey was carried out the new High School had just opened its doors. At the centre of the new development is the provision of facilities to the wider community. Respondents were asked how important these facilities are to them. Monitoring Responsibility for the Action Plan The Parish Plan has been developed and produced by the Parish Plan Steering Group under the auspices of the Culcheth & Glazebury Parish Council.

30 Monitoring Responsibility for the Action Plan The Parish Plan has been developed and produced by the Parish Plan Steering Group under the auspices of the Culcheth & Glazebury Parish Council. The publication of the final plan effectively ends the work of this group. It is suggested that the group be replaced by the Parish Plan Monitoring Group. This group should have the aims indicated in the Plan. Volunteers for the group should be sought from residents via the website and the Culcheth Life page. This group should report directly to the Parish Council. It is suggested that the entire Action Plan be reviewed in 5 years and at that time, the Monitoring group should cease to exist and be replaced by a Parish Plan Review Group. Again, volunteers for the group should be sought from residents via the website and the Culcheth Life page. In this way, residents will have several further opportunities to contribute to the development of the Parish. 30
